  • Overview

    The Sleep Number Training team is charged with designing and developing innovative learning tools and processes for team members to better serve our dynamic customers who engage with our brand via web, chat, phone and store for sales and service support.

     

    The Learning Technology Analyst plays a crucial role in shaping and executing learning technology strategies that contribute towards our organization’s learning culture and ecosystem. Serves as subject matter expert in system functionality and capability. Executes strategy for usage, release cycle and integrations, and data maintenance. Facilitates user adoption, develops and delivers system training for administrators and users, and acts as a support escalation point.

    Responsibilities

    • Applies comprehensive knowledge of user functions and administration to maximize learning management system (LMS) capabilities to meet learner and business needs.
    • Partners with instructional designers and content developers to deliver and support proprietary eLearning content requirements.
    • Manages content library including guiding policies for uploading, versioning, testing, and adapting content. Collaborates with other training partners in organization to govern best use of LMS.
    • Documents standard operating procedures and process flows, including creation and maintenance of business processes and FAQs. Provides LMS system training as needed.
    • Manages system releases including coordination with training initiatives, configuration, communication, and implementation.
    • Conducts learning system audits to monitor and report on adoption, usage and completions and analyzes this data to inform learning strategies.
    • Provides technical support for LMS, tracks escalated issues and forwards to vendor and/or IT as needed; informs users of resolution.
    • Manages sales secret shopper program to include orders, administrative reports and analysis.
    • Provides team logistical support as needed, i.e. training surveys, reporting and special projects.

     

    Qualifications

    Experience, Education & Certifications:

    • Minimum 4 years training and systems experience; two with system ownership
    • Experience working with learning management or similar systems – content management, learner reporting, administration. Desired: experience implementing a new company-wide learning management system.
    • BA or BS degree in System Administration, IT or related field

     

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    • Advanced computer skills required; Microsoft Office 365 suite (Excel wizard preferred) and at least one administrator level program.
    • Self-starter who possesses exceptional project and time management skills with great attention to detail.
    • Proven writing skills, including the ability to write concise and effective instruction.
    • Skills to measure effectiveness of training and return on investment (ROI).
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
    • Works well independently and as a member of a team.
    • Global thinker who performs well in high-pressure situations in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
    • Well respected, trusted partner – someone others want to work with.
