  • Overview

    This is a 10-week summer internship within the Internal Audit department.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the completion of IT audits including planning, fieldwork and reporting phase
    • Conduct audits of information technology general computing controls and provide value added feedback
    • Assist with gathering and assessing audit evidence and documentation for assigned audits including completion of audit procedures, developing conclusions, writing the audit report
    • Assist with other audit work as time allows

    Qualifications

    Experience, Education & Certifications:

    • Junior or Senior year college student majoring in Management Information Systems, Accounting Information Systems, Computer Science, or Accounting; and, currently participating in major-level courses

    Knowledge, skills & abilities:

    • Strong analytical skills
    • Demonstrates integrity and values

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills

    • Deals comfortably with new concepts and complex issues

    • Understanding of multiple technology domains including software development, Windows, Oracle eBS, database management, networking, and UNIX (preferred)
    • Understanding of information security standards, best practices for securing computer systems, and applicable laws and regulations (preferred)

     Working Conditions (if applicable):

    • Ability to work up to 40 hours per week (Full-Time).
