    The Consumer Insights Analytics team supports Sleep Number’s strategic priorities by providing data-based, actionable feedback to all functional areas – including, but not limited to marketing, product, and customer experience. Our ideal candidate is both consultative and analytical with a passion for solving ambiguous questions. Our team is collaborative, creative, customer-focused, and results driven.


    • Consult with partners across the organization to understand their business needs, influence decisions with data paired with impactful presentations, and create alignment on strategy


    • Design, build, and deploy statistical models and perform advanced analytics (regression, simulations, text-analytics etc.) to create actionable insights


    • Support data governance efforts, by documenting, cleaning and measuring data quality


    • Enhance efficiency and scalability by building repeatable processes and training our partners



    • Bachelors in a quantitative field such as math, statistics, engineering or economics


    • 3+ years of analytical experience creating and implementing statistical models


    • Proficient in SQL, R, SAS, Python or similar tools for analyzing relational databases at scale


    • Experience with all aspects of a modeling project including data prep, analysis of related variables, testing, deploying, and presenting findings
    • Skilled story-teller able to put powerful visualizations to use in PowerPoint and Tableau to audiences of varying levels in an org, from senior management to peers


    • Driven to both learn and train others in new methods for data analysis, visualization, collaboration, and automation.


    • Curious to identify questions that haven’t been asked and solving problems to drive change


    • Passionate about providing a world-class customer experience
