The SharePoint Site Collection Administrator is responsible for administration and maintenance of the SharePoint site collections and Knowledge platforms across the customer facing teams.  The SharePoint Site Collection Administrator is also responsible for defining and ensuring adherence to governance and best practice policies as well as platform best practices.  This role will act as a SharePoint subject matter expert to site owners across the enterprise.


  • Manages and partners with site owners for the design and build of SharePoint sites for Relationship Center, Retail, and Field Service Teams.
  • Acts as SharePoint subject matter expert and provides functional support to various site owners.
  • Ensures consistency and optimized design across all SharePoint sites for both internal and external users
  • Establishes and governs Site Collection governance rules.
  • Manages SharePoint permissions and ensures adherence to permissions policy. Partners with IT to ensure knowledge platforms are integrated with existing security platforms.
  • Analyzes business requirements and maps to SharePoint functionality. Assists site owners in leveraging out of box features within their sites.
  • Consults with site owners on cross site integration.
  • Create, leverage and manage content types, site columns, lookups and templates for re-use across sites.
  • Provides guidance to site owners on site design, navigation and metadata design.
  • Implements and monitors alerts, site usage and other analytics to drive continuous improvement of site usage and effectiveness.
  • Provides and manages first line of support to Site Owners. Escalates issues to technology support as required.
  • Participates in selection and implementation of future Knowledge Management technology solution.


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Advanced knowledge in SharePoint, preferably SharePoint 2016
  • Experience with the design, build and maintenance of SharePoint site collections
  • 3 or more years business/ technology/service experience
  • 3 or more years in Retail/Consumer goods business (B2C)
  • Working knowledge of knowledge management technology solutions
  • Exceptional presentation, communication and customer service skills
  • Meticulous organizational skills and ability to see bigger picture across broad set of business units
  • High energy, enthusiastic and motivated demeanor
  • Ability to be agile; readily adapt to change in a faced paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others; build strong work relationships and establish self as a trusted team member
