The Human Resources Specialist will provide Human Resources employee relations, operations and project support to ensure efficient execution of Human Resources processes and business partner functions for Sales and Services.  Provide business partner support to level one/lower complexity business groups or on an ad hoc basis. 


Business Partner Support:

  • Responsible for Human Resources Business Partner support for level one / lower complexity businesses and ER (employee relations) issues
  • Function as a backup to HRBPs in workload overflow situations or during PTO
  • Liaison to talent acquisition team and responsible for coordination of people changes
  • Coordinate and streamline of team effectiveness programs (survey development, team effectiveness, new leader acceleration (NLA), PowerPoint coordination and material controls etc…)
  • Create and continuously improve manager tools (i.e. corrective action forms, process documents, decision making paths)
  • Own data analytics relative to turnover (pulling data, analyzing data and preparing insights and recommendations)
  • Prepare monthly HR business review and other reports / analytics as needed

Operational Support:

  • Prepare, organize and process team member information ensuring data accuracy, integrity and completeness (i.e., job descriptions, terminations, salary actions, transfers)
  • Respond to requests for information; troubleshoot issues, follow-up and respond to team member inquiries not handled within the Shared Services
  • Document Standard Operating Procedures for the Human Resources Business Partner team
  • Provide tier two response to all unemployment claims



  • Responsible for coordination/updating/research and recommendations of company policies owned by Human Resources Business Partners
  • Primary interface with Shared Services for team member file requests
  • Conduct quarterly compensation and staffing/matrix (retail) increase audits; partner with HRBPs to resolve issues.


Performs related duties and developmental projects as assigned


  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience, including addressing team member concerns and questions desired
  • Knowledge of Human Resources related policies, procedures, regulations and trends
  • College degree; BA in Human Resources Management preferred
  • S/PHR preferred
  • Strong experience in using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Readily adapts to changing or ambiguous situations
  • Ability to develop executive presentations
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, critical thinking and influencing skills
  • Ability to apply critical solutions to business challenges
  • Ability and experience in handling employee relations
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines and work independently
  • Detail oriented
  • High integrity and ability to deal with confidential information
