The Sr. Manager of IT Business Solutions provides strategic leadership for one or more business technology capabilities, and sets direction for a team of Business Analysts partnering and supporting our enterprise business functions. Primary responsibilities include resource planning, staff development, project management, and overall end-to-end process and strategic design oversight. This position will work closely with Business and operational leaders, Application services, QA, PMO and infrastructure teams. This position will influence strategic design, set work prioritization, and adherence to best practice methodologies and processes.


  • Oversees strategic direction for one or more business technology capabilities that align to our enterprise business functions
  • Provides leadership and direction for a team of 5 or more BAs designing, enhancing, and maintaining core business application solutions.
  • Leads Business analysis and Process design capabilities for the organization.
  • Partners with business leaders to build IT roadmaps that align to business strategies and goals.
  • Leads and manages the implementation of large and complex solutions for core business processes. Provides oversight and leadership to manage multiple complex projects and programs that deliver high quality systems on-schedule, on-budget, to the committed scope.
  • Provides deep subject matter expertise across multiple functional areas and has a broad subject matter expertise across functional process flows or functional and cross functional teams.
  • Works closely with IS management and project managers to support project approval, priority setting, coordinating resources and schedules.
  • Follows process and project methodology, ensuring proper implementation and adoption by the project and and support teams. Advocates continuous improvement including identification of opportunities, adoption of best practices and standards.
  • Develops system and process strategies, leads projects, and drives successful solutions that maximize re-use.
  • Own relationship with third party software and service vendors


  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required
  • 10 plus years of IT or equivalent industry experience
  • 5 plus years of experience managing functional, project and/or support teams
  • 5 plus years of experience with packaged ERP solutions – Oracle eBusiness suite and/or Siebel CRM
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independently
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and activities in a timely, organized manner
  • Requires technical and management skills appropriate to the position
  • Requires strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be a creative problem solver, flexible, proactive, and work in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and action plans
  • Must be a strong team player.
